MELBOURNE GOSPEL CHOIR
The Melbourne Gospel Choir is Australia's most sought after Gospel vocal group for TV appearances and backing vocals for international artists. They have regularly appeared on many TV shows such as the Vision Australia's Carols By Candlelight, The AFL Grand Final, Dancing With the Stars, The Logies, The Good Friday Appeal, and previously on Hey Hey It's Saturday, It Takes Two, Starstruck, and In Melbourne Tonight.
Over the years The Melbourne Gospel Choir has backed such artists as Delta Goodrem, Westlife, Guy Sebastian, UK star James Morrison, Marina Prior, Marcia Hines, Natalie Basingthwaite, Reba McIntyre, Nana Mousokuri, Jon Stevens, Dame Edna, Vanessa Amorosi, Silvie Paladino and David Campbell, and many many others.
The Melbourne Gospel Choir actually comprises of about 14 to 16 very talented members in their own right, including numerous TV performers, theatre stars, and well known professional singers from around Melbourne, and they combine to make up this fantastic vocal group.
Having performed with many different stars for the last 20 odd years on Channel Nine's national TV event, Carols by Candlelight, and have often performed as a feature act, however their stunning performance in 2017 of This is Me with Keala Settle - now has the most Youtube views of any Carols by Candlelight performance ever, with over 5.7 million views and counting

The "Melbourne Gospel Choir" is a working band and not a public choir.
Members of our group are professional singers from around Melbourne and appear by invitation only.
Unfortunately we do not hold auditions or accept any applications to join our group.
